Current Empties

Here are some of my recent products that I have emptied between late December till now. All of these are skincare / body related items as these are the ones I tend to go through most quickly.

  • La Roche Posay Eau Thermale Spring Water: I use this as a toner after cleansing to help relieve my skin of any irritation or dryness. I liked the overall product however I won't be repurchasing because of the spray nozzle. It doesn't distribute an even mist and the thermale water just clings to the nozzle in little droplets. This is the travel size, so I'm not sure if the full size has a similar nozzle.
  • Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water: This has been my go to thermal water for the past year or so, I purchased the smaller size for my handbag and on the go. At home I like to keep the full size bottle for use after I shower. I may skip repurchasing this and instead try out Uriage's thermal water.
  • MooGoo MSM Soothing Cream: I always buy the pump version of this moisturiser because I fee like I use less of it and it's more hygienic. I use this as a day moisturiser and all over my body. I've already repurchased this.

  • The Body Shop Mango Body Butter: I felt like I had this body butter for the longest time and just couldn't be bothered to use it up. It's one of the most moisturising body butters from The Body Shop so it's probably much too greasy for a lot of people. I finished this by using it on shoulders, elbows and knees. This is a good winter staple but until then I won't be repurchasing.
  • Maybelline Mango Pie Baby Lips: This is my favourite flavour out of all the Baby Lips and the second tube that I've used up. It moisturises my lips well, keeps them soft and last for ages. I've already repurchased this lip balm.
  • L'occitane Shea Butter: I love this little tin of 100% pure shea butter. It's bascially an everything balm, I use for many things such as dry lips, any cracked / scaly skin, smoothing out my hair, etc. The only thing I don't like about this is that it comes out in a tin so it's gets dirty really quickly because you keep having to use your fingers to get the product out. I guess I could use a spatula instead. Again, I've already repurchased this.
  • L'occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream: My favourite hand cream. It's so thick and rich and the lasts for more than a few hand washes. I always get the travel size because it's cheaper and you only need so little that my last one last me for about 6 months! I've already repurchased this.
  • Priceline Brand Oval Cotton Rounds: I use this to remove my makeup. I pour a little Bioderma on a pad and then gently wipe my face to get rid makeup. I prefer the Priceline brand over the Swisspers one. I've already repurchased these.

What have you emptied this month? :)

  1. I am a thermal water junkie! Avene has always been my go-to but I discovered the La Roche-Posay last year and it has rocked me world. I didn't have a problem with my nozzle but I am using a full-size one so perhaps the nozzles are different? The Uriage one is also fabulous and I definitely recommend giving that a go.

    1. They are just so amazing, and do pretty much anything! :) That's good to hear about the La Roche-Posay one, it felt really nice on my skin too. I've seen that Bioderma do one too, so can't wait to give that a go. Thanks for reading :)

  2. Ooh, some great empties here!

I love sprays and I'm currently using an Evian one...that's pretty good and very refreshing! I must look into that Mango Babylips, it's been on my list for ages but I keep getting sidetracked by other lipbalms!

  3. Yay, that's a lot of empties. I can never bring myself to throw away empty tins, like the L'Occitane.
